தன் வாய் வீச்சால் மட்டுமே கோடிக்கணக்கான தமிழர்களை கட்டுப்படுத்தியிருந்த ஒரு மனிதன் கடந்த மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு  மேலாக அமைதியாகியிருக்கிறான்.  தமிழகத்தில் அரசியல் என்ற பெயரில் நடந்து வரும் அவலங்களை பார்க்கச் சகியாமலோ என்னவோ, நீண்ட மவுனத்தை கடைபிடித்து வருகிறான். “என் உயிரினும் மேலான அன்பு உடன்பிறப்புக்களே” என்ற அந்த கரகரத்த குரலை தமிழக மக்கள் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு மேலாக கேட்கவில்லை. கருணாநிதி மேலாண்மை கல்லூரிகளில் படித்ததில்லை.   செல்வந்தர்கள் செல்லும் வெளிநாட்டுக் கல்லூரிகளில் நிர்வாகம் பயின்றதில்லை. முழுமையான கல்விப் படிப்பை முடித்ததில்லை. ஆனால் தமிழகத்தின் தலைச்சிறந்த நிர்வாகி, மிகச் சிறந்த தலைவர் என்று அனைவராலும் ஒப்புக் கொள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறார். தன் பதினாலாவது வயதில் அரசியலில் நுழைந்த கருணாநிதி இன்று வரை அரசியலை மட்டுமே சுவாசித்து வருகிறார். அவர் பேச்சு, எழுத்து, பார்வை, மூச்சு என்று அனைத்துமே அரசியல் மட்டும்தான். நாடகத்திலிருந்து திரைப்படக் கலை வளர்ந்து வந்த காலகட்டத்தில் வசனங்கள் மட்டுமே திரைப்படத்தின் முக்கிய அங்கமாக இருந்தது.  வசனங்களின்...
